What We Include…
This 3 day, 2 night Mekong Delta Family Experience is a tour into the heart of the Mekong Delta. It gives you a family orientated perspective on local living while still enjoying the major attractions and comfortable hotel accommodation.

You will be picked up directly from your hotel in the morning by your English speaking tour guide and driver. We then head to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong, and the rice bowl of Vietnam. Once in My Tho we will transfer to a boat and make our first impressions of the natural scenery of the region. There we will see houseboats, fishing operations, and dive into the life on the water lifestyle.
From there we continue onto a local orchard where they grow exotic fruits (based on the season) such as dragon fruit, rambutane, pomelo, and others. A short ride later we visit a coconut sweets factory, and then explore the local waterways between the mangrove trees. This then leads us into lunch where we have the opportunity to have elephant ear fish or stewed coconut shrimp.
To cap the day, we head to one of the most beautiful pagodas in the region, and then watch the sunset at the Ninh Kieu promenade. After that you are free to enjoy dinner at one of the many local restaurants, or head back to your hotel and relax there.

We start early on day two as we get on a sampan boat and enjoy the floating market of Cai Rang. One of the largest and longest running of its kind in the world, you can shop, enjoy breakfast, and have a coffee on the water while you take in the local culture. After enjoying the market and capturing some great pictures, we head to a local fresh noodle factory in traditional Vietnamese fashion. Then for lunch, we head to the crocodile farm, and although there is an assortment of food, we recommend trying crocodile meat as part of your meal.
After recharging, we go to Long Xuyen and take a short bike ride and visit a local Vietnamese family and learn more about the way of life and mentality of the people. There we will also see a boat yard, rice paper factory, and fish farm. Then its time to head to our hotel in Chau Doc for the evening where you can relax or do a little exploring as you wish.
