What We Include…
This 3 to 5 day trip to the Lak Lake Area is an amazing experience to escape the city life and experience the natural beauty of Vietnam’s Southern highlands. This is an amazing trip for anyone to experience and it sure to be a highlight of your travels.
DAY 1:
We start with pick-up from your hotel and travel to Dak Lak in your own private car with your English speaking guide. On the way we will stop for breakfast in Dalat or another place based on the time and starting point. On the way there is the possibility of seeing elephants and other wildlife as we make our way to the ethnic village of the Mnong Minority Group. Then after the stop we will travel to your accommodation by boat at the beautiful Lak Tented Camp on the lakes edge. Once there you will check in before we have a nice dinner in the evening and you unwind while having a nightcap.
DAY 2:
It’s worth getting up early to see the sunrise over Lak Lake to start your day. Enjoy a coffee as the landscape comes alive before your eyes. Then if you are interested, you might like to set out on the lake in an optional kayak or bike ride to see the surrounding area and get a little exercise. We have our breakfast at the hotel restaurant before we head out on an easy trek to Bim Bip Waterfall. Once we are there we set up a picnic next to the waterfall, and if you want to go swimming there is an optional outdoor pool.
In the afternoon you can enjoy the sunset from Cuo Son Island with a cocktail, and in the evening there is a traditional music performance before we have dinner. Don’t get too full though because we will also be tasting a traditional favorite of Vietnam “Ruou Can”, which is a quite enjoyable fermented rice wine. You are free to enjoy the rest of your night.
Day 3:
Today we go to visit Dray Nur Waterfall after breakfast. Located in a beautiful park, we can explore the area and then also take a short rafting trip. We then sit down for lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy the last meal before your return or onwards journey begins. We recommend continuing on to spend some time in Dalat, but the choice is yours and both this and Dalat tours are optional in terms of duration if you would like to enjoy for longer. Just ask us and we will be happy to support your travels.
