What We Include…
Your trip to Hue from port starts in the morning with pick-up by your English speaking tour guide outside your cruise ship. Your exact start and finish time is determined by the vessel, and our group tour is specific to your ship. If we start from Chan May Port, we drive towards Hue and along the way we pass the famous Hai Van Pass. This natural border is the divide between North and South Vietnam. From the highest point you can enjoy panoramic views (weather permitting) over the ocean, Danang, and the Son Tra Peninsula. From there we arrive in Hue to visit the famous Citadel and Forbidden City. Take in the times of old, learning about the history and heritage of Vietnam from your guide as you also take in a great landscape and surrounding relics.
In addition, we also stop for a traditional Vietnamese meal in a restaurant where you can enjoy a little bit of the culture. In the afternoon, we carry on to visit the Tu Duc Imperial Graves, which are surrounded by picturesque hills and lake. There is quite the mystical charm in this are, and you will be able to explore a bit before we finally head back to the port. Once there we again take you ship-side, and in time for your call time to take you to your next destination.
