What We Include…
Enjoy the history and culture of Vietnam with our Cao Dai & Cu Chi Tunnel tour. Starting with pick-up from your hotel we embark to Tay Ninh to visit the holy place of the Cao Dai which translates to “highest Lord” or “Highest Power”. Established in 1926, it has flourished into a following of an estimated 4.4 million followers in Vietnam, or around 6 million if you include some other sects of its belief system.
During our visit we will partake in the midday prayers, and admire the architecture of one of the faiths primary centers before going on to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels.
The tunnels are a truly well preserved monument of the Vietnam War, which have been popularized since as a main cultural site of the country and its involvement in current day Vietnam’s independence.
There we will learn more about the Viet Cong guerrilla organization, and its uses during the period to support thousands of troops. Including storage facilities, small factories, and medical care facilities, the tunnels wind for approximately 200 kilometers. Of which about 120 kilometers is preserved by the government and turned into a war memorial parks, Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc.
After visiting the tunnels, if you choose, you can take aim at targets using live ammunition with some of the only weapons available to the public in Vietnam.
The tour ends there, and we will then drive back to Saigon where you will be taken back to your hotel.
